We test dug on 8/15/19. Skins weren't quite set. We are giving them a few more days in the ground. The good news is, we were able to run them through the new cooling tubs and are working out the bugs. The shed is almost ready! We hope to start packing early next week. As you can see, the potatoes look pretty. We are excited about the quality!
Brian started growing potatoes for Lenz Family Farms in 2007 after he and his wife Kylee (a 3rd generation Lenz) moved to Wray from Durango, CO. He became a partner in Lenz Farms in 2008. Brian loves the challenge each season presents as he tries to produce the highest quality potatoes he can. Brian and Kylee keep busy farming and chasing their 4 children!
